The Ministries of Northwest Baptist Church center on our Mission Statement
which states, “Our purpose as a church is to glorify God by exalting Him in
worship, by equipping the believers for service, and by evangelizing the
lost. Psalm 150:2, Romans 15:9a, Ephesians 4:12, Colossians 1:10, 2 Peter
3:18, Matthew 28:19-20”
Ministries of Preaching and Teaching:
The ministry of preaching and teaching the Word of God is the most
important ministry of the church. We make no apologizes for this stand.
This is true in all of the services from Sunday School, Sunday Morning and
Evening to Wednesday Night. We stand without apologize on the Word of
God.
Ministries for the Family:
One of the things you will hear at NWBC is that this is a “Place where your
family can grow!” There are many ways in which your family can grow. We
have a Sunday School class designed just for the “Family,” this allows the
whole family to go into one class (newborn baby to grandparents).
We have a monthly Men’s and Women’s meeting designed to have a time of
fellowship, prayer, and encouragement.
We also have couple’s retreats for the purpose of strengthening marriages.
We also will counsel couples who have found themselves in difficult marriage
problems. It is our prayer that every marriage will enjoy the blessing of
God. Marriage was ordained by God, so God’s principles must be followed if
one is to have the blessing of God. So all the counseling of NWBC is from
the Word of God.
Ministries of Sunday School:
We have a multitude of classes for your Spiritual Growth in Christ: We take
the philosophy that “people drive our S.S.” This means we do not start a
new class without qualified teachers and students ready for that class.
All of our children’s classes use materials from “Positive Action Bible
Curriculum.” This is Bible-based material. You can check out the material at

Jr. High Ages 10 – 15
All of the adult classes are using material written by Pastor on the Book of
Acts.
